The web app ERC (Economic RESTful Client) is a web tool that gives the ability to explore, visualize and compose mostly economic and finance data from different open and private data providers mainly to charts.
Data Providers
There are 20 data providers in total have been added to the web app ERC currently, most of them are open data providers. Some of them require a user's API key for requesting data. API keys can be set up in the modal dialog Settings from the header bar.
UX tries to be simple as much as possible for users with so many data sets. From the topics slider menu in header bar can be opened a data topic browser, from a topic browser — a draggable dialog with options for requested items.
After choosing items from option and clicking button Load in a dialog, a chart will appear in resizable charts container.
Data provider's description and link to a dataset can be found by clicking on a tab Info of chart item.
The web app ERC (Economic RESTful Client) hosts on GitHub by following link https://zhnzhn.github.io and some chart examples can be found on the @webapperc Twitter timeline.
Also the web app ERC has a responsive layout design and three UI theme: Dark, Light, and Sand.
Conclusion
Open data does not stay in the same place, new data providers appear and new tools are created by developers. Data visualization is one of the famous methods of finding information from data and, for example, can be useful for information, education, analysis, and research purposes.
I assume the web app ERC (Economic RESTful Client) will be interesting for many users and useful for many use cases.
